In the Fall of 2003, a lease was secured with the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland for 11 acres of land next to Manchester Middle School, on West Nimisila Road, for the purpose of additional baseball fields for use by the local youth. The park is named in honor of Manchester's George H. Sisler, the tenth inductee into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. For additional information regarding George Sisler's professional baseball career, view his National Baseball Hall of Fame profile page.
Sisler Park has baseball and softball fields, soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, and newly added in the fall of 2022, tennis and pickleball courts. The tennis courts are the home courts for Manchester High School's tennis teams, so please check availability during tennis season. The last few amenities (benches, trash cans, etc.) for the tennis/pickleball area will be added in the spring of 2023, so if you plan to use the facilities before then, please plan accordingly.
