The city of New Franklin is planning a project that will involve the removal and replacement of the Grill Road Bridge located between S. Cleveland Massillon Road and Fairland Road in New Franklin, Summit County, Ohio. The existing structure, which carries flow from Pancake Creek, consists of three corrugated metal pipes and will be replaced with a single cell 20’ x 6’ concrete box culvert. This project includes full depth asphalt replacement for two, ten-foot lanes that span the length of the proposed box culvert. The project is currently scheduled to begin in the fall of 2024.

We welcome your questions and comments.  Issues you may wish to comment on may include, but are not limited to, the effect of the project on local residents, air quality, the local economy, floodplains, and historic or cultural resources.  Comments are requested by March 13, 2024 to ensure your comments may be considered during project development.
